CGDA’s participation in Reboot Infogamer and Game Days Košice

The  GAME-ER partner – Croatian Game Development Alliance (CGDA) has recently participated in the  two important events from the European gaming industry: Reboot Infogamer 2024 held in Croatia and Game Days Košice 2024 held in Slovakia.

Reboot Infogamer 2024

Reboot Infogamer, a video game event in Croatia, marked its 10th anniversary with a comprehensive program featuring the latest in gaming technology and trends. The CGDA leveraged this platform to engage with stakeholders and promote the Croatian game development scene.

A highlight of the event was a panel discussion featuring the study conducted by Olsberg SPI -an international audiovisual consultancy. This session provided expert analysis on the potential economic impact of implementing a cash rebate incentive system in Croatia, a key initiative expored by GAME-ER partner. The discussion, which included the CGDA’s general secretary and the state secretary of the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media, underscores the organization’s dedication to fostering a thriving ecosystem for game developers in Croatia.

Game Days Košice 2024

The CGDA further extended its reach to Slovakia, participating in Game Days Košice, a leading business event for game developers. This event, also celebrating its 10th anniversary, provided a valuable forum for industry knowledge transfer and networking.

Aleksandar Gavrilović, general secretary of the CGDA, delivered a comprehensive workshop on European Union funding opportunities for game developers. This session equipped attendees with critical information on accessing substantial financial support.

Game Days Košice fostered a collaborative environment with a diverse program featuring workshops on art, business development, and game engine technology led by recognized industry experts. The event also showcased a dynamic mix of established studios like 3Division and Cypronia, alongside emerging independent developers.
